From Seville: The Impressive Gibraltar Rock!

Rock of Gibraltar on this day trip from Seville is one of the most iconic and stunning attractions in all of Spain!

The excursion to Gibraltar departs from Seville and will take you to the countryside of Gibraltar, crossing a large part of the province of Cádiz, with its fabulous cork oak forests and its picturesque white villages.

Upon arriving in Gibraltar, we will perform the so-called Rock Tour, starting at the entrance to the Natural Reserve of Gibraltar.

Our first stop will be at the viewpoint of the Columns of Hercules, where we will enjoy incredible views of the Strait of Gibraltar.

We will continue to the viewpoint of the Rock of Gibraltar, see the very friendly macaques, stop at the Signal Station, and finally visit the St. Michael’s Cave, in the heart of the Rock of Gibraltar.

Next, Travellers will have free time for lunch and to visit the city’s commercial area, near the famous Main Street, where they can enjoy the many shops and bazaars that give Gibraltar its reputation as a shopping center and where, at the moment, the “hard Brexit” does not exist.

At the end of free time, our guide, at the agreed place, will accompany you to take our transport back to Seville.

Overall, I thought the tour was great! The only downside was that we were not able to see as many monkeys as we had hoped. Petra was a great guide, and the tour was easy to understand and helpful. The tour and free time were just right - they went out of their way to drop people near their hotel.

Nice day trip. Great guide. Easy to understand and helpful. Right balance of tour and free time. It was a nice family trip. We loved the fact that we crossed into UK territory and got an extra stamp in our passports (do not forget these for this excursion) one let down was that our kids were most excited to see the monkeys.

We thought we would be in the middle of a sanctuary and they would be all around us. They take you to caves on the highest point to walk inside and that is amazing. We only saw three monkeys walking around and that was it, so just keep that in mind if that is your main attractive for this trip
